What else you need to use it
Worked out from Logitech’s own specifications and box contents for this model. The setup builder checks the same parts against your computer and the rest of your gear.
Check first
- A USB-A port on your computer. The cable is fixed and ends in USB-A. A computer with only USB-C ports needs a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
- A monitor mount or tripod. The box contents list no mount.
When this model makes sense
- Plug it straight into a USB port on your computer; no HDMI capture card needed.
- Frame yourself seated at your usual distance; set the focus and field of view before cropping in.
- Choose a resolution and frame rate the maker lists in your streaming app, then test your lighting and movement together; the resolution alone won’t tell you how it looks.
The Webcam versus camera guide weighs it against the other ways to fill the same role.

Check these conditions first
Not yet confirmed from Logitech’s documents: mounts. The builder treats it as unknown, never as a yes.
For a webcam, test the crop, lighting and frame rate you want in the app you stream with. A higher resolution leaves room to crop a tighter shot, but it says nothing about low-light quality, and some features only work with the maker’s software.
What is included, and what may be missing
- Brio 100 webcam with attached 1.5 m USB-A cable
- User documentation
Both cable ends and the data rating matter more than the plug shape: streaming cables and ports explains how to match them.

The diagram shows a simple USB setup. Find where the Logitech Brio 100 goes, then follow each input back to what feeds it and each output on to where it goes. HDMI and XLR gear needs a capture card or audio interface between it and your computer; it doesn’t plug straight in the way this USB example does.
The setup builder turns this into a connection list for your own computer and gear, and the pre-stream checklist covers the rehearsal once it is wired.
