How this site earns money
Retailer links on MyStreamSetup are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
A short disclosure appears at the top of every page that carries a retailer link, and the footer of every page on the site says the same thing. Amazon links are marked with the sponsored link relationship, and the product photographs we are permitted to show link back to their own Amazon page.
What a commission does not buy
A commission never decides which device fits a setup. The catalogue is ordered by connection role and the profile pages say what each model cannot do; we link the manufacturer directly wherever there is no Amazon listing, and those links earn nothing.
We do not print hardware prices, stock or discounts, so nothing on this site can go stale into a claim about what you will pay. Check the current amount at the retailer. For the actual comparison rules, see how we compare equipment.
Product images
Exact product images come through the authorised Amazon Creators API. That image access does not change product ranking and does not authorise display of hardware prices or stock. Images expire from the page when the permitted metadata window ends, and the page falls back to text.
