What else you need to use it
Worked out from Logitech’s own specifications and box contents for this model. The setup builder checks the same parts against your computer and the rest of your gear.
You need
- Logi Options+. The maker lists this software for the device to work as described.
Check first
- A USB-C port on your computer. The cable in the box has USB-C at both ends. If your computer only has USB-A ports, you need a USB-C to USB-A cable rated for the same speed.
- A computer running Windows 10 or later (not Arm64); macOS 13 or later. The maker lists these systems for the desktop app.
When this model makes sense
- Keep up to 9 actions on screen at once; put mute and your fallback scene where turning a page can’t hide them.
- Use the 1 dials for things you turn up and down, such as headphone volume, and keep scene changes on the keys.
- Save a Logi Options+ profile that works and reuse it. Check each app action after a plugin or software update.
The Stream Deck decisions guide weighs it against the other ways to fill the same role.

Check these conditions first
For a stream controller, count the actions you need on screen without turning a page. Dials help when you adjust something gradually, such as volume. More keys are no help if the controller pushes your microphone or keyboard out of reach.
What is included, and what may be missing
- MX Creative Keypad
- MX Creative Dialpad with two AAA batteries
- USB-C to USB-C 2.0 cable (1.5 m)
- Stand
- User documentation
Both cable ends and the data rating matter more than the plug shape: streaming cables and ports explains how to match them.

The diagram shows a simple USB setup. Find where the Logitech MX Creative Console goes, then follow each input back to what feeds it and each output on to where it goes. HDMI and XLR gear needs a capture card or audio interface between it and your computer; it doesn’t plug straight in the way this USB example does.
The setup builder turns this into a connection list for your own computer and gear, and the pre-stream checklist covers the rehearsal once it is wired.
