What else you need to use it
Worked out from MiraBox’s own specifications and box contents for this model. The setup builder checks the same parts against your computer and the rest of your gear.
You need
- MiraBox Stream Dock software. The maker lists this software for the device to work as described.
Check first
- A USB cable that fits your computer. The box contents are not confirmed for this model, so check which cable comes with it.
- A computer running Windows 7 or later; macOS 10.15 or later. The maker lists these systems for the desktop app.
When this model makes sense
- Keep up to 10 actions on screen at once; put mute and your fallback scene where turning a page can’t hide them.
- Use the 4 dials for things you turn up and down, such as headphone volume, and keep scene changes on the keys.
- Save a profile in MiraBox Stream Dock software that works and reuse it. Check each app action after a plugin or software update.
The Stream Deck decisions guide weighs it against the other ways to fill the same role.

Check these conditions first
Not yet confirmed from MiraBox’s documents: connector shape, included parts. The builder treats them as unknown, never as a yes.
For a stream controller, count the actions you need on screen without turning a page. Dials help when you adjust something gradually, such as volume. More keys are no help if the controller pushes your microphone or keyboard out of reach.
What is included, and what may be missing
The maker doesn’t publish a full list of what comes in the box. Check the box contents for your region before you count on a cable, stand, power supply or adapter being included.
Both cable ends and the data rating matter more than the plug shape: streaming cables and ports explains how to match them.

- Microphone USB outUSB cable → A USB port on your computer
- Microphone / interface headphone out3.5 mm or 6.3 mm headphone connection → Headphones (what you hear)

The diagram shows a simple USB setup. Find where the MiraBox Stream Dock N4 goes, then follow each input back to what feeds it and each output on to where it goes. HDMI and XLR gear needs a capture card or audio interface between it and your computer; it doesn’t plug straight in the way this USB example does.
The setup builder turns this into a connection list for your own computer and gear, and the pre-stream checklist covers the rehearsal once it is wired.
